Wee Care Day Care Center & Nursery School is the longest operating day care center in Manchester, Connecticut. Established in April 1977 by Director Ann Marie Burney, Wee Care Day Care Center & Nursery School has built a valued and serviceable business sought out by those seeking quality day care. Wee Care Day Care Center & Nursery School accommodates and nurtures the needs of those as young as nine months through 11 years. Mrs. Burney has had years of substantiated early childhood education. She graduated from Notre Dame College with a BA Degree in both Elementary Education and Early Childhood. She is a member of National Association of Child Care Professionals, and is a registered "Early Childhood Educational Consultant" for the State Department of Education. On the practical end, Mrs. Burney has raised five sons, all who are of adult age now. She coached Tee-Ball, Soccer, and was the President of Little League in her hometown of Vernon.
